PHILIP CARTER
Humble beginnings
Phillip Carter was born in Champaign, Illinois. He graduated from Champaign Central HS and later attended Parkland College. At Parkland College he served as President of the Student Government, and as the Student Trustee on the Board of Trustees and on various boards and committees within and externally.
Service above self
Mr. Carter served 6 years honorably in the U.S Air Force in Security Police and Law Enforcement, then after his enlistment served in civilian law enforcement before moving on to movie theater management. Phillip worked as a District Manager over seeing up to 21 first run movie theaters in four states. He also worked for his family business in Illinois who became a Large General Contractor.

Phillip Carter moved to North Fort Myers over 15 years ago to run his business and take care of his aging mom and step father. He is active in multiple veteran organizations and is a longstanding member of the Am Vets and the American Legion. He enjoys social events where he can mix and get to know his neighbors and fellow citizens. Carter understands the concerns of everyday Floridians like him that are neglected by the political elite. He knows why we need change now and is ready to make it happen.
